Beta 1 of Xfce 4.4 has been released last week. Packages are nearly ready in our svn and will be uploaded to unstable soon. Transition will occur, as the two core libraries (libxfcegui4 and libxfce4util) have soname bump. Some sid powerpc packages are already available in my repository. Sources packages are available too, so you can rebuild them for your architecture.
